Today was the first “harvest” at our Nyland plot:
a delicious sweet pea
and a spicy radish!

Our kids love to feed the pet goats at the Nyland cohousing community. They even pick the fresh, juice, thick, green grass that is growing around our plot.

Today we visited our friends Mary and Aaron atCoastalfields for a potato and onion planting session.

While we, the grownups, were busy trying to get setup for Active Fallow our two kids asked so many questions about growing plants and vegetables that I decided to grow some sprouts at home and give them a hands on experience.
